As students and young professionals, we’ve seen how the incredible work of women creators and change-makers is often overlooked, and how they face everyday challenges that can make it hard to feel seen, heard, and valued.
We believe everyone, no matter where they are from, deserves a space to thrive. Through our newsletter and blog, we strive to create safe, inclusive spaces where women can find inspiration and support. Aurora hopes to be a platform that uplifts these stories, highlights the journey behind them, and builds a powerful community of empowerment.

Founder & CEO
Hi, I’m Palak Tiwari, the Founder and CEO of Aurora. Growing up as the eldest daughter, I often felt the pressure of expectations and the isolation of not having role models who looked like me or experiences I could relate to. I wished there were spaces where young women could learn from one another, find a mentor, provide mentorship, share their journeys, and feel less alone in navigating leadership and confidence.
I started Aurora to create that very space, a nonprofit dedicated to amplifying women’s voices and building a supportive community. My goal is to ensure no girl feels isolated and that every young woman has the stories, tools, and encouragement she needs to rise, lead, and thrive.
