Uplifting Women's Voices
Aurora was created with the intent of spreading awareness and celebrating the achievements of women. As students and young professionals, we’ve seen how the incredible work of women creators and change-makers is often overlooked, and how they face everyday challenges that can make it hard to feel seen, heard, and valued.
We believe everyone, no matter where they are from, deserves a space to thrive. Through our newsletter and blog, we strive to create safe, inclusive spaces where women can find inspiration and support. Aurora hopes to be a platform that uplifts these stories, highlights the journey behind them, and builds a powerful community of empowerment.

I’m Palak Tiwari, Founder and Executive Director of Aurora. My own journey, shaped by expectations and the absence of relatable role models, inspired me to create a space where young women can feel seen, supported, and empowered. Through Aurora, I strive to build a community that gives every girl the confidence, tools, and encouragement to lead and thrive.

Hi! I’m Sarika and I’m currently a junior at McNeil. I’m the Podcast Team Director at Aurora. I joined Aurora because I love empowering women’s voices and giving people a platform that deserve, being part of this team means I get to do that and make meaningful change for so many young women. As an Indian woman myself, it feels super meaningful to me to give other POC and Indian women a voice. I’d describe myself as extremely hardworking and determined to whatever I put my mind to, and I’m so excited to grow with Aurora!

What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
